DECEMBER 2020 UPDATE 2

The Trust Board met for the last time in 2020 this week, reviewing 2020 and planning for 2021. The Trust Board wish all our suppoorters and followers a very happy Christmas and a much better 2021.

After the rigours of the examination week students relaxed in their breaktimes this week with some mindfulness exercises provided by Ishmael Bockerie, our Logistics Manager. Much enjoyment was had by those who participated and those who spectated.

Trustees are very grateful and thank the supporters who responded to our appeal to donate part or all of their winter fuel allowance to Extra Mile. This enabled us to use it partly to pay our staff in Sierra Leone a bonus for all their efforts during a year that has brought many challenges, not least that posed by Covid. We thank all our staff in Sierra Leone for their tremendous efforts during 2020 which is helping to improve the life chances of our students.
